The How's and Why's of making
a planned or major gift
to The University of West Alabama
There are many opportunities for giving and many
ways gifts can be made whether making a gift today, next month or at one's
death. Your support can help you fulfill personal desires; for example,
you can honor a loved one through an endowed scholarship or naming of a
building, classroom or specific program. You can insure that a family member
or your own name is remembered long after your demise. The support received
from alumni, friends, and other associates of The University of West Alabama
will not only contribute to a successful future for The University of West
Alabama and the education of its students, but tax related benefits can
be gained from making a major gift.
